  Dear Parents,
   
  The Berwick & District Nursery School is a co-operative, non-profit organization which is managed each year by the Director and a volunteer parent executive. It is not operated for financial profit of an owner, but rather for the social education benefit of each family involved. There are a number of ways in which you can become involved.
   
  The executive is chosen at an Annual General Meeting in September and meets monthly throughout the school year. Meetings are open for any parent to attend. Fundraising activities such as the Santa's Breakfast require volunteers and donations. Other activities include taking turns bringing the daily snacks, cleaning the play area, typing, picking up mail, making play dough, etc. Working together for the well being of our children is the primary focus.
   
  The nursery school maintains a high quality preschool program at a low cost because of your involvement. Whatever the level of involvement you feel you can commit yourself to, be assured every bit of time and money donated goes directly towards only one kind of profit - a healthy preschool environment for your child.
